Dermal piercing won't lay flat?

i just got my dermal anchor under my belly button done 2 days ago, and its not laying flat against my skin. its only lifted a tad on one side. the piercer said it would settle but i dont know.. since i JUST got it done, once it heals will it flatten some? like will my skin pull it down
