How do I get white board marker out of a teeshirt?

I know that generally you can't use regular stain removal tricks for dry erase marker, but a few sources say that you can try rubbing alochol, Murphy Oil Soap, and even Mr. Clean erasers to try and remove it. If the shirt's a lost cause anyway, may as well try to see if the odd options work.
