How to 'brighten up' a black dress for prom?

As it's prom I think you should go for a sparkley clutch and a bold colored pair of heels (such as bright red) Also you should see how your hair looks up in this dress as i think it would show off the neckline well, or even having it half up/half down. Definitely don't overdue the accessories as its such a nice dress. ie: maybe a silver bracelet to match a silver/black glittery clutch. Also I recommend you paint your nails the same color as your shoe color. Hope some of this helps!
