How to bleach a design in a green blanket?

Hi! I am trying to make a gift for a friend, and to do it, I need to either embroider (I don't want to do this because the opposite side of the blanket will have backing on it) or dye the word "Psych" on a green throw blanket. What would be the easiest way to accomplish this? If there is another way to create the effect of white letters on a green blanket, I would love to know. :) Thanks!
